You don't have to be a genius. I'm proof. It took me twelve jobs and two layoffs to learn the thing nobody says out loud: you don't need a secret. You need to get clear on what you actually want, learn a few simple rules, and keep someone who's been there in your corner. That's all this is. My story, and the playbook I wish someone had handed me years sooner.
