Responsibilities

This is my personal favorite and how I got my start. A Customer Support Agent is responsible for helping customers with their purchases, inquiries, complaints, and other issues related to the products or services offered by a company. Customer support agents are needed in nearly every type of industry and company. This is a very common entry point for anyone trying to get a remote job with no experience.

2. Sales Development Representative ($40k-$100k)

Responsibilities

Sales Development Representatives (SDRs) are responsible for generating leads for a company's sales team. This means that oftentimes SDR’s aren’t actually doing the selling. They’re qualifying the customer to make sure they’re a good fit for the product, and if so they pass them onto the Account Manager.

The job might involve conducting research, reaching out to potential customers, and conducting initial qualification of leads through phone calls and meetings. SDRs are responsible for building relationships with potential customers and advancing them through the sales pipeline.

Responsibilities

6. Travel agent ($30k-60k)

Responsibilities

Travel agents might also assist clients with passport and visa requirements, travel insurance and provide travel-related information and advice.
